Swimming has been a huge part of my life ever since I began training and competing with Rushmoor Royals Swimming Cub at the age of 11 and I continue to train and compete while studying for my Engineering degree at Oxford Brookes Univesity. My swimming milestones include winning gold at counties, competing at both regional and national level and in 2018, representing GB in the NSW championships in Australia. My favourite strokes are backstroke and freestyle.
I became a swimming teacher because I wanted to give something back to the sport which I love. I find it extremely rewarding to work with both children and adults who are just starting out on their learning journey and equally satisfying to be able to pass on my knowledge and expertise to those swimmers who want to develop and improve their stroke and technique by working through the higher levels.
