The 30 minute swimming lessons are held on Sunday afternoons from 3 – 5.45pm and we aim to provide children aged 4+ with the skills to ensure they are happy and safe in the water and can swim with confidence.

The COSC Learn to Swim teachers are Swim England qualified but unlike other swim schools we are also coaches or competitive swimmers.

The lessons are structured around the Swim England Learn to Swim Programme from Stages 1 to 6 with an emphasis on technique. There will also be the opportunity to learn new skills such as water polo, synchro, open water swimming technique and most importantly, all children will be taught self rescue and survival skills.

Developing Confident, Happy Swimmers!

The start of the swim season is the beginning of September and runs through to the end of July. However, we do welcome new swimmers throughout the season and there is also the  opportunity to get a taste of competitive swimming through our Rising Stars Squads, entry from stage 5/6 upwards, swimmers are also welcome to trial for the competitive Academy Squads. Please contact us to book a trial on secretary@oxfordswim.com

Skills camps

These are run in the school holidays times and will add to the swimmers skills and expertise. They may cover starts and turns or diving as a specific skill development. All help towards creating confident, efficient swimmers as well as having fun. For more details and to start your child’s journey of becoming water safe and maybe a competitive swimmer of the future, please contact us at secretary@oxfordswim.com
