In a stacked field of South African swimmers and Australians he came 4th just outside his personal best time set at British Championships earlier in the year. As part of his successful trip Connor finished 9th in the 50 Br and 11th in the 100 Br his weaker events. At 16 Connor was one of the younger male competitors and Connor was part of the Welsh 4X100 mixed medley team who were pipped to the bronze by England by 0.95 seconds.

Connor has had a busy few weeks making his international debut two weeks earlier representing GB in Israel for the European junior championships setting a personal best time of 29.79 in the 50 breaststroke. These two international experiences have allowed this young swimmer to gain in confidence as he looks to next season where he will contend for a place on the Welsh Commonwealth Goldcoast team.
