Head Coach Amanda Booth says: This is a fantastic opportunity for Connor to be part of the Welsh multi-sport team. This event and Connor’s selection for European Juniors will provide him with invaluable experience in his journey towards senior success in the future.

This and Bryan’s selection for Wales and Great Britain at the European Championships in June, also reflects the growing success of City of Oxford Swimming Club (COSC).and will offer inspiration and further  development  opportunities for COSC swimmers to represent their nation in the future.

At junior level, COSC’s academy swimmers have completed their Swim England Competitive Safe Diving Award and are ready to take to the water at the upcoming Maxwell Meet in June and The COSC end of season level 3 meet in July. Academy Coach Liz Basterfield has been working with the academy swimmers to hone their diving skills and is sure that the recent training and the planned dive skills camp over half term will see many of them achieve medal positions and PB’s at these two key events in the junior swimming calendar.
