Our Board and Volunteers

COSC is run by a group of parent volunteers who offer their time and professional skills to ensure that the club is well-governed and well-run in line with our rules, articles and policies and in line with Swim England guidance.

The full board meets monthly, and minutes are sent to Club members by email.

The wealth of activities offered by COSC for swimmers would not be possible without the time and efforts of a huge number of volunteers who manage our membership, liaise with pool providers, organise our participation in external meets, run our home galas, ensure the welfare and safety of our swimmers, recruit and support lifeguards, manage our website and social media platforms, write our newsletter, organise our club kit shop, and much, much more!

Many of our volunteers are trained to play the crucial roles without which competitions cannot happen, especially our Team Managers and Officials. 

All parents with swimmers in competitive squads are expected to volunteer in any way they can to help the Club. We provide training, advice and support to everyone so that they can really be part of the COSC family.
