The COSC Learn to Swim School follows the Swim England Learn to Swim Programme, which is the leading national teaching syllabus for delivering safe, inclusive and effective swimming lessons for all ages.
Whether you want your little one to learn to swim and this will be their first set of lessons or to refine your star swimmer's technique to take them forward into competitive squad swimming, we have a lesson for you.
We currently offer lessons for Stages 1-6, and are aiming to expand to stages 7-10 in the future.
Our lessons programme is currently held on a Sunday afternoon during term-time at Oxford High School pool. We charge £10.50 per lesson, and we bill termly in advance.
My son is thriving in his swimming lessons. The diverse sessions and elements of fun mean Sundays can’t come soon enough!

I love the competition feel in the pool and I have an amazing squad of friends as a result of swimming with the club for 7 years.
A great, well coached masters club with a good variety of swimming levels.

Our Swim School follows Swim England’s learn to swim programme so that all of our swimmers are able to access the different pathways within the aquatic world. The programme is underpinned by the principles of Swim England’s Athlete Development Support Pathway. This supports the development of our national athletes.
Our inclusive programme is delivered by professional swimming teachers and coaches and offers awards throughout the different stages of your child’s aquatic journey. Whether that is through our competitive route or another, your child will be able to achieve the best of their abilities and have the skills to follow a pathway which they enjoy and can aspire to.
Our lessons aim to engage and motivate learners of every age and ability – fun lesson content and clear, structured stages mean learners and teachers can easily see and monitor progress. This helps to build learner confidence and competence in the water.
We aim to give every swimmer the opportunity to explore and experience the different opportunities which are open to them.
